Darkness is back. Overlord Zenon has cursed the land, and now, Veldime is transforming into a nasty Netherworld. Memories are sterilized, bodies demonized, the world is falling into chaos. Some include the fact that there are bugs present, although very few and not frequent, they still affect the experience. Some range from being unable to beat an item world level due to a glitched character and the inability to move past the title screen which requires a file to be deleted. These few issues are easily fixable and resolvable but in the case that you similarly own a poor laptop, don’t be surprised if there are a few bugs.
Another would be the inconvenience. A limited storage bag with less than a thousand space for items. The grind for higher levelled items and stats taking hours upon hours. These are some that make the process of completely 100% the game to be a hassle if compared to the QOL additions of Disgaea 5 or 4. For those that haven’t played those games, then this won’t mean much to you; while those who experienced those games, take it as a grain of salt for the difficulty in smoothly completing everything this game has to offer. Frankly the prices during sales are charming for the quick expected diagaea experience one would get. It presents a story that many say is the best with the cliche trope of a shonen protagonist defeating the demon king with many implied twists that ramp up the amazement this game has to show. The whacky humor, the absurd gameplay that no other franchise in the tactical jrpg sphere offer, this is a good game. Dealing billions of damage and perfecting items to get just that slightest boost in stats, this is the perfect game to waste time and mindlessly grind. On the other hand, those here for just the main story and not the post-game will find that the story is still the main pull.
