Dark Siren Direct Download
“It’s strange. According to the schedule, we should have already arrived at our destination…” “God, watch over us.” As you wake up and wake up, you can see the Dark Siren wandering around inside the empty ship looking for you. What the hell happened here? Find the notes left by the sailors throughout the ship, uncover the truth about what happened here, and escape. You must stay alert and look around carefully to avoid being charmed by the Dark Siren. If you are caught and enchanted by the Dark Siren 3 times, the game will be over. Solid game for $3, I know I only got 4 gigs of ram, though there’s some serious work to do with optimizations. I got only 8-13FPS with this game while other latest AAA title can run at least 30-35 fps with minimal stutter despite having lower amount of ram.
Optimisation and graphical options, because even with tweaked down ini game still have low fps. Skipable cuscenes. Its annoying to watch them every new game. Siren should give some sounds around her – singing, mumbling, whispering… Now her footsteps not always can be heard. Look back button. Something R or Q, to look at her while being chased. The game is still point and click, with a permanent guide that can assist you in your adventure (i.e. suggest what you should do next). The storyline is fun and contains that little bit of silliness that Monkey Island always had. However, as someone else shared – I also wasn’t that stoked with the ending.
Dark Siren Direct Play:
If you’re considering getting this game just for a weekend play, do it. The graphics, soundtrack and play-style is entertaining enough to keep you captivated. Average game-time to finish the storyline on the easiest option appears to be about 10-11 hours – there are different modes you can opt for, too. Overall, I do recommend this game – just have a healthy expectation. Right off the bat, let’s address that art style. You’ll either love it or hate it. I’m more in the latter. I thought it was ok, but I never quite got used to it fully and wish they went with something else. The puzzles were decent, though ultimately pretty easy overall. If you get stuck, there’s a hintbook that won’t give too much away unless you keep clicking on it, which is a nice touch. The interface and animations are smooth and the game has a ton of charm.
